Pinoycatholics.org launched!
The launching of the CATHOLIC WEBSITE http://pinoycatholics.org was held yesterday during the Feast Day of St. John Mary Vianney, The Patron of Priests. It was graced by HIS LORDSHIP CAMILLO BALLIN, The Bishop of the Catholics in Kuwait, His Excellency RICARDO M. ENDAYA, Philippine Ambassador, Kuwait, ATTY. JOSEPHUS B. JIMENEZ, The Labor Attache of POLO-Kuwait, Website Team, Parishioners, Supporters and Friends from all over Kuwait.
The Author Father Ben Barrameda with his Team presented their specific work in this mass media apostolate for the Catholic Church.
The Author told that “This is a Catholic website that will help promote Catholic traditions and information. This will cater the needs of the Catholics throughout the world in their faith and inform them with sound doctrine as they live their Christian life.” He added, the website team in Kuwait started this noble work on September 2008 then launched temporarily on March 22, 2009. Due to the need of volunteers, we ask the help of other Filipinos in almost all parts of the globe. Today, we have numerous users and visitors globally. The Team is still in need of volunteers in achieving our goal to spread the Good News and other important things pertaining to our Catholic faith. He presented also the Mission and Vision.
Mission
1. Committed to spread the Gospel and Catholic information through the electronic super hi-way.
2. Dedicated to air the Holy Mass and Catholic teachings.
3. Devoted to update the Philippine Parish Directory.
Vision
1. To be able to share the Good News to others through the internet especially for Filipinos and other people who are far from the Church, unchurched and no presence of Catholic Church in their locality.
2. To be able to air English and Tagalog Mass and catechesis through podcasting and video clippings so that recipients will be able to hear the Holy Mass and other instructions.
3. To be able to give sound Catholic information to the people for their spiritual welfare.
4. To help the Parishioners from all over to find their parishes and info.
